Why I started this blog
A martlet is heraldic swift-like bird that never lands, passing its whole life on the wing. It symbolizes a non-stop quest for knowledge and adventure. I chose this pen name as I find myself on a similar ongoing, multi-directional quest. As a web developer, I work non-stop on various client and personal projects. As a visual artist, I create both digital and physical art and design. And as a writer, I craft texts in several languages, ranging from poems to commercial copy.
Isn’t it too much for one person? It certainly is, which is why I started this blog. Through my writing, I aim to question, seek meaning, and navigate the unprecedented informational abundance and complexity of our world. It is a world that is both blessed with immense economic and cultural richness, yet plagued by the looming dangers of cultural and even civilizational collapse.
This blog is my way of searching for hope, making my voice heard, and contributing to our rich but fragile culture to the best of my abilities as a busy individual.
Join me on this journey as we explore new ideas, engage in thought-stimulating discussions, and strive to make a positive impact in our ever-changing world.
